Artists can reserve the following exhibition spaces for either no fee or for a small fee.
Lunenburg’s George R. Wallace Community Room: Fee: the Friends of Lunenburg Public Library welcomes donations (15% of sales suggested). This gallery is located inside of the Lunenburg library and has a single interior door as an entrance. The Community Room is a public, unsupervised space with frequently scheduled library and community functions. The artist negotiates the sales of art with any interested party. You can read the Gallery Policies at http://lunenburglibrary.org/art_exhibition
Townsend’s Meeting Hall Gallery: Fee: $20, $50, or $70, depending on the area/s reserved. The Meeting Hall Gallery Committee invites applications from artists or groups who are interested in holding and organizing their own show. Hanging space (with a hanging system) is available in The Meeting Hall and/or the Corridor that connects the library and senior center. The Corridor has the benefit of foot traffic between the library and senior center as well as separate entrance doors. The Meeting Hall is the location of weekly events. All transactions are between the seller and the purchaser with no involvement from the gallery committee.
