The Leominster Art Association was founded as a non-profit organization in 1965, by John DeLibero. With the help of John’s wife Eleanor and a small group of artists, the new organization quickly grew and gained recognition.

The first LAA art shows and exhibits took place in the parking lot of Northgate Pharmacy in Leominster, which John, a Pharmacist himself, owned and operated.

Today the LAA art shows and exhibits fill up the auditorium at St. Leo’s Elementary School  in Leominster.

Currently the LAA has over 300 members, ranging from amateur to professional, including painters in all mediums, sculpters, photographers, graphic artists, and patrons of the arts. We welcome all new members who are as excited and empassioned as we are about art! See our membership page for details.
